Rules & Regulations

Rules No 1: All type of fees should be deposited on 15th of every month and if the school is closed for any reason after that, the fees will be deposited on the day the school will open.
Rules No 2: Student who will not be able to deposit the fee on the day of fees will be able to deposit the fees only on 20.25 and last of the month.
Rules No 3: The principal reserves the right to cancel the admission and re-admission of any student without assigning any reason
Rules No 4: No student suffering from any contagious or infectious disease shall be permitted to attend the school till he brings a Medical Certificate of fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
Rules No 5: Strict regularity and punctuality, courtesy in word and deed, cleanliness of dress and person, proper care of books and school property are expected from every student. Students and parents must strictly confirm to the instructions, rules and regulations laid down in this regard.

Pt. Prithi Nath Inter College is known as one of the oldest Government aided Educational Institutions of the city for its contribution to the various sections of society, The institution has shaped the minds of a number of leaders, social workers and government officials serving the nation.

In 1888, the institution was founded as a Primary School in a rented house at Patkapur locality by Pt. Prlthi Nath Ji who was a leading Advocate of U.P. and he was the 1st President of Kanpur Bar Association. Gradually it made progress, became popular, and in 1901 it started imparting education up to middle-class. Late Sajeevan Lal ji, the first Head-Master, took all the initiatives for the academic progress while Pt. Prithi Nath Ji monitored and managed all the managerial and financial responsibilities to run the institution. After the death of Pt. Prithi Nath ji in 1910, the responsibility to look after the affairs of the school was laid on the Chairman of the institution Rai Bahadur Babu Anand Swarup and Manager Pt. Jagmohan Nath Chak. A registered society in the name of PPN School Management Society was formed. The Society purchased the present land from the U.P. Government in 1913. Under the Influence and by the cooperation of these two education lovers the school made tremendous progress. After Pt. Jagmohan Chak, Rai Bahadur Dr. Brijendra Swarup Advocate Ex-M.L.C took over the charge as manager and during his period the school got affiliation by the government upto high school level with the cooperation of the then Education Minister C.Y.Chintamani. Sri Devi Prasad Khatri waho was the founder member of the U.P.Board Allahabad was the First founder Principal of PPN High School. In the year 1950, the school got affiliation in all the streams up to intermediate level.

After Dr. Brijendra Swarup, his able son Sri Devendra Swarup, Advocate Ex-MLC took over the charge as President and Dr. Virendra Swarup Chairman U.P. Legislative Council took over as manager upto 1972. After in the year 1973 Sri Yogendra Swarup Advocate Member and Ex Chairman, Bar Council of U.P. took over the charge as manager. The institution is making constant progress under the guidance of Sri Yogendra Swarup Ji Advocate. The Clean administration and discipline among the students. To impart fruitful education and inculcate the principle of simple living and high hinking is the motto of the college.
